We originally fell in love with Diforti’s Cannoli, but our latest coup de cœur is their Aragostine.
These artisan pastries are cut, folded and formed into lobster tail shapes by hand. These shells are then piped with a rich and creamy filling before being baked until ludicrously flaky and satisfyingly crunchy. Finally, they are dusted with icing sugar – the perfect finishing touch. These ones have been filled with a gloriously green pistachio cream, which makes a perfect companion to a cup of coffee or tea, or even a glass of Moscato d’Asti.
